I don’t know about you but growing up, I was obsessed with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It was hands down my favorite cereal.
These days, you’d never catch my buying a sugary preservative laden cereal, but that doesn’t mean I want to give up having a tasty breakfast!

I’m a hard core smoothie fan, so I created this delicious (and healthy) Cinnamon Toast Crunch Smoothie recipe. It is full of vitamins and nutrients and is a super healthy way to replace a bowl of cereal.
The recipe calls for ceylon cinnamon because the health benefits of Ceylon far out weigh that of the more common variety of cinnamon, cassis. Ceylon cinnamon is high in antioxidants and it can aid in digestive health, weight loss, and blood pressure reduction.
If you see a bottle labeled simply ‘Cinnamon,’ it is likely cassis, so look for bottles that specifically say ceylon.
When purchasing coconut water, make sure you look for pure coconut water without any added sugar- Thirsty Buddha and Blue Monkey are great brands. Or even better, pick up a coconut, crack it open, and use the water inside! (There are lots of great videos online showing you how to safely open a coconut).
Okay are you ready? Swap your spoon for a straw, grab your blender, and prepare yourself for a game-changing smoothie.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Smoothie Recipe
- 2 bananas (frozen)
- 4 teaspoons Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
- ½ cup almond milk
- ½ cup coconut water
- Handful of greens (optional)
